About Palmer Mediation and facilitation
Mission
At Palmer Mediation and Facilitation, I am dedicated as a divorce mediator, educator, facilitator, and solutionist, helping individuals, co-parents, and groups reach mutual and agreeable solutions. My mission is to provide accessible mediation services, both in-person and remotely, to assist parties in coming to satisfactory resolutions for their disputes.
About Sara
Sara Palmer, Ph.D.
Sara really began her journey in mediation back in 5th grade when she was designated as a "Peace Maker" by her elementary school to help other students resolve arguments on the playground.
Sara became a mediator in 2008 during her undergraduate education at Boise State University and graduated with her B.S. in Psychology. After graduation, Sara worked as a Family Group Decision Maker as a mediator between Child Protective Services (CPS) and the parents wanting to reunite with their children. After coming to an agreement, Sara would write a court order on steps to reunification.
After her B.S. in Psychology, Sara also received her M.S. in Educational Psychology and Ph.D. in General Psychology with an emphasis in Cognition and Instruction. Sara also teaches (since 2011) in higher education and currently teaches graduate psychology courses for Purdue University Global. On top of all of her various work roles, she co-owns a mental health agency in the Treasure Valley.
Sara will mediate child custody and divorce, stipulated parent coordination services, and facilitating court ordered co-parenting classes.
Sara is a Certified Professional Mediator (#308) with the Idaho Mediation Association. She is also a member of multiple national mediation organizations (listed below).
